The Water Cycle
Many people may think that the water cycle in Antarctica is very different compared to the water cycle in other continents because of the drastic cold temperature, but the cold temperature does not get in the way of the water cycle. Although Antarctica is the driest continent on Earth, it still has liquid form of some sort such as lakes and melting ice. That can cause evaporation from the sun, the water would change from liquid form to gas form as it goes up to the clouds. The sun isn't the only way that causes evaporation though, especially when there no sunlight at all during winter time. Wind replaces the sun's job of evaporation, it causes evaporation too! Don't forget that Antarctica is the windiest place on Earth!
